Midterm Mapmaking

I just finished my first midterm, always a huge relief of burden. I studied enough and I’m pretty sure I passed, now I can focus on my upcoming Philosophy exam. We’re studying Plat’s Symposium, and it has proven to be a heavy read. Midterm taking and studying has been part of my life for the past three years, but this year I got to do something different. For my Modern Egypt and Nazi Germany classes we had to make maps the Near East and 1942 Europe respectively. All I can say about that is thank God for the internet! We had to look at different maps in order to make our own, and none of them had all the information needed. Each one probably took like four different maps for me, and its so great not having to go to the library and flip through atlas after atlas in search of what is needed. Those map assignments will probably be the only time that I will ever need to know where the Ebbegebirge Mountains are!
