Emotional Illiteracy

I’m not good reading people’s emotions. I can tell if someone’s upset if they really show it, but I can’t if they are giving signs to the contrary. As a general rule, I’m heavily reliant on verbal statements, and my lie detection skills are hit or miss. All this I had to learn the hard way.
