Today I completed my training for being a staff writer in the school paper. It started on Saturday and on Friday I conducted my very first interview for my first assignment. I’m writing about Russian university which our school has recently signed a sister university relationship with. Now I have the training needed to actually do my new job in a professional manner. I was expecting to only learn about a limited range of skills and practices, but my expectations have been far surpassed and I learned all sorts of fascinating things.
Now I am a trained journalist. Well, in a semiprofessional sense.
