The longest I’ve known any of the friends who I’m still in touch with is maybe five years at best; so I don’t have any BFFs who I’ve known since Kindergarten. I was homeschooled, so it was very difficult to have access to friends growing up.
When I was in Boy Scouts I had two friends who I always hung out with. One of them moved and the other one aged out when I did, so we almost never see each other but we still text a lot. When I started junior college there was one classmate who I was in a bunch of classes with so we started hanging out between periods and became friends by default. Then our two years were over and now we are moving on to different universities, but we are still in touch somewhat.
Next month I begin my university time, and I will have new friends still.
