Just did the ACT today. Overall I found it to be much better than the SAT. We were able to get going on it much quicker than the SAT, largely because the procter didn’t have to read as much. All the sections were much easier and I was able to breeze through each of them; except for science and math, which are my Achilles Heel. Thankfully on the ACT you can just randomly guess answers because there is no penalty for marking it wrong, so by leaving it blank you are forfeiting an opportunity for points. I liked it better on everything; not least of which were the two ten minute breaks, much better than the SAT’s three five minute breaks. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with the SAT. It’s just that the ACT was better for me, but everyone’s different so some might hate the ACT and think the SAT is awesome. Not me. I’m just glad I did both that way I have two scores. Now I have done everything that needs to be done for admission to four year.
